Sales tax requirements for construction projects vary from state to state. Please consult with your tax specialist or accountant to find out if you need to add sales tax to your invoices.
Log into your account
From the menu, choose Invoices
Locate and open the Invoice you want to discount to
Under Scope of Work, locate the Tax Rate line
In the area to the right, enter the % sales tax rate you need to charge
The new amount will calculate, you can verify the tax by looking at the Tax Line
At the top right, click Save Invoice
The Invoice Details page will load, you can review all charges including tax
You can now send invoice or go back to the Invoices page by clicking the
< back button
